Hancock Heading To The Rock
 (09-07-10) OPELIKA, AL - 2007 ADRL Battle Of The Belts Champion Jamie Hancock is planning on returning to the ADRL Nitrous wars at Dragstock 7 coming up at Rockingham Dragway.
Shortly after winning the championship, the Hancock family had a a leaner and meaner 1968 Firebird built, Unfortunatley, a testing accident resulted
in the car being totaled before it ever made a full pass. At that time, they still had the trusty but heavy 2004 Corvette and it was revived for local
events.
Jamie's driving and father James tuning skills have kept the team a contender every race that has been entered but weighing in at over 2600 lbs it was clearly at a disadvantage.

Bruce Boland, Mike Stawicki share honors in Grand Bend PMRA final
 Stawicki captures points race, takes home 2010 Championship title
(09-07-10) GRAND BEND, ON – The 2010 Pro Modified Racing Association season ended with a new champion and a former champion shared his first win of the season.
In the fifth and final PMRA event, held at the Grand Bend for the Teamsters Union “Thunder by the Beach” event, race finalists Mike Stawicki and Bruce Boland shared the race honors as co-winners.
With his success this season, Mike Stawicki, of Medina, NY, secured enough points to capture the PMRA Championship Point Award Series presented by Magnum Auto Parts and Patio Passport.

Henderson who won King of the Beach in 2009, in his Tom Tillman Race Cars 69 Camaro, knows he must bring his A game if he is to be a repeat winner at one of Northern Virginia's most historic races. Stivers struggles for words after first-round exit at Indy
 (09-07-10) CLEREMONT, IN - Rick Stivers struggled to find the right words to express how he felt after losing first round in the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series at the U.S. Nationals. His Trane '06 Stratus qualified No. 15 which paired him with turbo-powered Brad Personett in the opening stanza, but he never got to see how his car would match up against the car that eventually won the event: Stivers' parachutes deployed before the run and he was forced to watch as Personett took the freebie.

PERSONETT RACES TO GET SCREENED AMERICA PRO MOD SERIES VICTORY AT MAC TOOLS U.S. NATIONALS
 (09-06-10) CLERMONT, IN - Brad Personett raced to his first career victory in the NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Series Monday at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals presented by Lucas Oil, the world’s most prestigious drag race.
Personett, from Elkhart, Ind., cruised to the win in the final when Joe Baker couldn’t make the call. In earlier rounds, Personett defeated Rick Stivers, Kenny Lang and Ed Hoover. During the weekend Personett reset the national speed record in the series to 255.39 mph in his ultra-fast Personett Performance ’68 Camaro.

Commisso takes new R2B2 Racing-built Pro Mod car to Indy semis
 (09-06-10) INDIANAPOLIS, IN - R2B2 Racing's Raymond Commisso guided his new ProCare Rx Firebird Pro Mod to the semifinals of the Get Screened America Pro Mod Series race Monday at the 56th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.
"I think we had a great weekend," Commisso said. "It was the first national event with the new in-house chassis we built. We went two rounds and took out the No. 1 qualifier in the first round, so we ran about as good as can be expected."
After advancing to the quarterfinals Sunday afternoon, Commisso faced Rickie Smith, who had taken out Commisso's teammate Melanie Troxel in Round 1.

 (09-06-10) INDIANAPOLIS, IN - It takes every part and piece on a race car to work in concert for a driver to turn the win light on. When a weak link breaks, it can ruin an otherwise bright race weekend.
For Troy Coughlin, driver of the JEGS.com Camaro in the get Screened America Pro Mod Series, a relatively inexpensive part in his car's nitrous injection system handcuffed him during the first round of eliminations at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals on Sunday.
"We had a good hot rod all weekend," Coughlin said. "We were a top half player then we had a problem with the nitrous."

 (09-06-10) INDIANAPOLIS, IN - R2B2 Racing's Raymond Commisso rode a near-perfect light and an imperfect run to an upset victory over No. 1 qualifier Mike Janis during the first round of eliminations of the Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series contested at the 56th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals on Sunday.
Commisso advances to race Rickie Smith when eliminations continue on Monday afternoon.
The Canadian put his R2B2 Racing Firebird into the No. 16 spot in the elimination field on speed after Commisso and Dennis Radford ran identical 6.048 second passes during qualifying. It was Commisso's 240.72 mph top speed that put him in the field after Radford could only muster 232.47 mph out of his car.
