For the second consecutive year. the Chris Duncan Pro Mod Super Series will be a part of one of the most prestigious drag races on the planet, The O'Reilly Auto Parts World Series of Drag Racing at Cordova Dragway Park in northwestern Illinois. The oldest event in the sport, the World Series also remains the largest independent drag race for its 59th season.
The World Series features over four hundred vehicles in nearly every category of competition including Modern Fuel Funny Cars and Dragsters, Nostalgia Fuel Funny Cars and Fuel Dragsters, Wheelstanders, Jet Dragsters and Jet Funny Cars, a jet-powered semi-tractor, nitro-burning altereds and, most importantly, you! Thanks to CDP track owner Scott Gardner and series sponsor Chris Duncan Race Cars, the Midwest Pro Mod Super Series will again be an integral part of the two-day extravaganza. The event, contested on Friday, August 24 and Saturday, August 25, traditionally draws monstrous crowds and offers exposure from nearly every media outlet in the industry.
Teams can waive car and driver entry fees registering in advance for the event by Friday, August 17. The Chris Duncan Pro Mod Super Series allows all vehicles with operating doors restrictioned to the use of a single power adder, (nitrous oxide, turbocharger, or supercharger). No nitomethane fuel is permitted and vehicles using a screw compressor supercharger are limited 92% overdrive.
