Re: ADRL web site

With military budget reductions, it was much talked about that the NG would not be able to renew. They are only allowed one year contracts if I remember correctly.

I had heard the the Army sponsorship of DSR was up for debate as well, but has since been renewed.

Re: ADRL web site

We went to The ADRL Va. race this year and didn't take the car as the motor was at the shop. For the first time I rode around on the golf cart and it finally came to me why Nat Guard was the sponsor. The ADRL gives the tickets away attracting a huge crowd that would other wise never be able to afford to attend a race of that caliber. I'm sure ,in this economy, a lot of them are out of work and are a perfect match for the armed forces and I'm sure that's why NG was there to begin with as that was their target audience. I'm surprised they pulled out because they'll never get that kind of gathering at an NHRA or NASCAR ,over priced, event. I believe their money is better spent with the ADRL because of this but they proably like the back slapping and hoopla the NH and NAS boys give em. Kenny wore a few diferent shirts each day at PRI so he has more than one sponsor plus the manufacture's midway is getting big. They'll be just fine.
